"and it was all yellow" - Coldplay

Since school ended back in May and I was able to do my annual summer shopping spree I've been HOOKED on the color yellow! I think pantone got it wrong when they said the color of 2018 is Ultra Violet.

Outfit Number One

I am OBSESSED with this yellow printed backless maxi dress from Forever 21!! I paired it with a pair of brownish grey heels from Charlotte Russe (so I don't trip) and kept my hair down to embrace the curls. This dress is extremely elegant with the double slit and dainty corset back. I was extremely lucky and was able to take pictures with my neighbors dog, Pete, who matches the dress.

p.s. Pete was my date for the night

Outfit Number Two

The only thing better than a little black dress is a little yellow dress!! I got this cute number from Forever 21 (can you tell I shop there a lot?) and I couldn't be happier. Since this dress is so simple, I grabbed my favorite floppy hat and my favorite pair of heels. I love how this dress can be dressed up and down, it is such a wardrobe staple.

Outfit Number Three

This strapless yellow bodysuit from Pacsun is to die for! I found the perfect stripped grey and white shorts from Ross to wear along with the bodysuit. I love this outfit because the shorts are so flattering and although the top is a bodysuit it is surprisingly comfortable. I thought to finish out this look I would put on a pair of yellow earrings and throw on my fav pair of (fake) Birkenstocks.

So what is with the obsession with yellow you may be asking so here is

five reasons why I love yellow...

1. it's a great pop of color

2. it makes me smile

3. it reminds me of the sun

4. and flowers

5. and lemonade

Mini Accutane Update:

So I have been on accutane for two months now and so far it has not been bad at all. I barely had side effects my first month (40mg a day). I just recently started getting side effects thing month (60mg a day). My eyes have been dry and whenever I walk they water which is GREAT because my job is walking around my campus giving tour, yay me!! My lips and skin are also really dry but that was expected and means that its working. The only other "side effect" is because the medicine is making my skin sensitive I keep cutting myself with my nails, and I barley have nails. Overall the side effects are not bad at all!! One really good change that I have seen so far is that I barley have acne on my chest, back, or shoulders!!! There are still a few pimples, but nothing compared to what it used to be.
